WAI recognised once again as TecDoc Premier Data Supplier

Leading rotating electrics supplier, WAI, has been awarded Premier Data Supplier status by TecDoc for the second year in a row, as the parts catalogue system continues to tighten its requirements for the accolade.
The TecDoc system from TecAlliance is the leading spare parts catalogue system in the independent automotive aftermarket.
TecDoc’s quality standard, launched in 2021, requires data to be supplied with quality characteristics including additional validations and key performance indicators. WAI’s data continues to meet the requirements to make the grade for the year ahead.
WAI completely overhauled its parts data information, resulting in enhanced vehicle coverage from its 5000-plus references, to achieve the status from TecDoc. The company ensures its customers can accurately identify any parts required and rule out any errors that can occur in the selection process.

TecAlliance has operated stringent quality control of data hosted on the TecDoc cataloguing platform since 2020. In 2021 TecAlliance started awarding parts suppliers and manufacturers the title of Premier Data Supplier, when the supplier’s product data meets significantly stricter content-related requirements.
