TMD Friction wins IAAF Outstanding Achievement award

TMD Friction’s technical training team was awarded the coveted Outstanding Achievement accolade at the annual Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) awards dinner.

Taking place at DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes on Thursday 8th December, the IAAF annual awards ceremony recognised exceptional contributions to the aftermarket sector throughout 2022.

TMD Friction’s training team was recognised for its uncompromising approach to continuing professional development (CPD) including informing customers and the wider aftermarket of correct fitting procedures and modern-day braking systems.

Scott Irwin MIMI, head of technical training at TMD Friction, said:

As well as topping up customer knowledge with training sessions for customers across the UK, the TMD Friction technical training team themselves remain agile to the changing landscape of the automotive industry, recently completing IMI-accredited electric and hybrid vehicle training.
