Suzuki Ignis II (MH); 1.3; kW: 69: Engine Management

Model: Various models, M13A

Fault symptoms:
- Engine stops after a short run at idle speed.
- Another engine start is possible.
- A burst of gas at an engine speed between 4000 - 5000 rpm will cause the engine to stop and the tachometer tofreeze at approx. 2000 rpm.

Technical background:
- Crankshaft sensor has been replaced.
- Mass air flow sensor has been checked, the measured values correspond to the target values.
- Voltage supply of crankshaft sensor has been checked.
- At idle speed, the voltage supply of the crankshaft sensor corresponds to the set values.
- The voltage supply to the crankshaft sensor breaks down under load.

Potential fix:
The camshaft sensor has been replaced.
