TecRMI: What the fix?! - Hyundai i30

TecRMI have issued their latest repair case for a Hyundai i30 where the engine sporadically fails to start.

Model: i30 (FD)

Fault symptoms: Engine does not start sporadically.

Trouble code:
- P1690
- Immobiliser does not send feedback.

Start system

Fault symptoms: Engine does not start sporadically.

Technical background:
Immobiliser reading coil has been replaced.
Indicator light for immobiliser glows or lights up only briefly, even if the reading coil for immobiliser is not connected. Immobiliser wiring harness checked for damage.
Electrical plug connection for immobiliser is in the A-pillar below the glove compartment is corroded.

Potential fix: Clean the electric plug connection(s), repair if necessary.
