SMP Europe launches next day delivery service from European facility

Engine management specialist SMP Europe, the home of Intermotor, Lemark and Lucas brands, has launched a new next day delivery service from its European distribution facility in Poland.

The distribution centre was opened in 2021, measures over 60,000 square feet and employs 120 staff members. It provides shipping for customers worldwide and is now able to offer a next day service for faster parts delivery to meet increased demand.

SMP Europe has a well-known presence in Europe thanks to its long-term relationships with distributors in the region over the past few years. The distribution centre, and new next day delivery option, further highlights the brand’s commitment and dedication to innovation and investment, planning for the ever-changing landscape of the industry and ensuring it consistently meets the highest possible service levels.

The SMP Europe Poland operation is supported by its Centre of Engineering Excellence in Nottingham, UK, which designs and produces its engine management range of products. The company’s engineering team has grown in recent years to 16 employees, and additional investment has also seen the implementation of 3D printing machines to assist in rapid product prototyping, fitment testing and in house custom tooling.
