SMP Europe launches new EGR Valves at Automechanika Frankfurt

Leading engine management specialists, SMP Europe, unveiled its latest EGR Valves range at industry trade show, Automechanika Frankfurt 2022, offering show visitors a first look at its engineering expertise and brand-new parts.
SMP Europe’s range of EGR Valves includes 57 part numbers to cover over 27 million popular vehicle makes and models.
The latest EGR Valves from SMP Europe, launched at Automechanika Frankfurt 2022, offers customers replacement electronics with custom designed PCB’s, developed at the company’s brand-new research and manufacturing facility in Nottingham.
Improvements have been made to materials and methods used in the manufacture of castings with SMP Europe’s partner suppliers to ensure the high quality, high-performance and a long service life.

“Our latest EGR Valves have been designed and developed at our Centre of Engineering Excellence by our team of experts, utilising the latest techniques and technologies. They received a positive reception from visitors at Automechanika Frankfurt 2022 where we unveiled them for the first time.”
The new range of EGR Valves offer a fully temperature compensated design, with each unit individually calibrated on bespoke end of line testing equipment to meet or exceed OE performance standards.
“Following significant investment in our engineering capabilities in recent years, including software and machinery, we are able to significantly reduce the costs of tooling and manufacture by bringing many of the processes in house, including the design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures. This reduction in cost of production will be reflected in the price, resulting in a high quality, high value range of EGR Valves, among the best performing available to the aftermarket.” Turner adds.
