Shaftec range extension hits the marque

Date: Monday 31 July 2023

Shaftec will introduce a further 38 caliper references and four new driveshafts to its ever-growing portfolio in August. In line with the Drive. Steer. Stop expert’s market philosophy, these new to range parts are a mixed bag of components to fit both the latest, most up to date models, along with many which accommodate older vehicles. And with the UK vehicle parc now averaging 10 years, that’s a big chunk of the aftermarket.

The four new driveshafts cater for four-wheel drive (FWD) diesel vehicles such as the popular Citroen Jumpy from 2016 onwards. Examples of new to range calipers include Nissan Qashqai II 2013 onwards, Range Rover Sport, 2016 onwards, and VW Transporter T6, from 2015 onwards.

“At Shaftec we put EVERY customer at the very heart of our business and are proud of the depth and range of premium product we supply,” explains Adrian Kitchen, Shaftec’s marketing manager. “With our remanufactured products produced in-house to matching OE quality standards at our dedicated UK facility - we have total control over the materials and processes. This also means that for our UK customers, there are no borders to cross or import and export issues; simplifying the supply chain and meaning we can offer constant availability even under challenging conditions.”

Fast Facts
Along with CV Joints, CV Boot Kits, propshafts and axle shafts, DRIVESHAFTS make up Shaftec’s transmission, or DRIVE offer. The driveshaft is the part which gave the company and brand its name, and which we’ve been successfully supplying the aftermarket with for more than 25 years.

Along with Shaftec Select range of surcharge free product, Shaftec’s remanufactured caliper programme makes up the STOP offer. In just 16 years, Shaftec’s caliper business has grown exponentially. Sixty three percent more calipers were remanufactured in the first six months of 2023 versus the same time-period in 2022.
