Nicolò Bulega: together with Magneti Marelli Checkstar for the 2024 Superbike Championship

Date: Monday 26 February 2024

Magneti Marelli Checkstar enthusiastically renews the partnership with 2023 Supersport World Champion Nicolò Bulega in his new adventure in Superbike with the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team. This year, he will hit the track with a Panigale V4 R: the bike changes, but the helmet colors remain the iconic ones with our Magneti Marelli Checkstar logo.

Nicolò comes from a triumphant year, which saw his crowning as Supersport World Champion, winning 14 races and stepping onto the podium 18 times. Transitioning to Superbike, Nicolò, who, like Magneti Marelli Checkstar, always aims for excellence, remains loyal to the team that brought him global success and to Ducati, sharing the box with teammate Alvaro Bautista.

In the first tests of the season, held at the Spanish circuit of Jerez de la Frontera, Nicolò beat the absolute track record on the second day with a time of 1’37”809, while in Portimão, he was the only one to achieve a time under 1’40’’. In the last week, ahead of the race weekend, tests were held at Philip Island where Nicolò classified in second place with a time of 1’28’’585, trailing teammate Razgatlioglu by just 74 milliseconds.

Nicolò will face fierce competition, navigating among top riders such as Jonathan Rea, Andrea Iannone, Sam Lowes, and Alvaro Bautista; but his extraordinary skills will allow him to compete on par with the best riders in the world of Superbike.

Magneti Marelli Checkstar stands by Nicolò in this new and exciting challenge, which will see him engaged in twelve weekends of racing. The entire team wishes him a #atuttobulegas championship full of successes and satisfaction and good luck for the 2024 season, awaiting him in UK on July 12-14 at Donington.
