New oil for Stellantis Group models: LIQUI MOLY TOP TEC 6310 0W-20

With Top Tec 6310 0W-20, LIQUI MOLY is launching a new motor oil on the market that meets the requirements of the PSA Group (PSA B71 2010), among others. “This is a top-of-the-line oil that reduces fuel consumption and at the same time offers the engine comprehensive protection,” says Oliver Kuhn, deputy head of the LIQUI MOLY oil laboratory.

Top Tec 6310 0W-20 is primarily intended for petrol, petrol/hybrid and diesel engines from the model year 2018 for Citroën, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot and Vauxhall vehicles. This oil is required for PSA engine types that require a lubricant of specification PSA B71 2010. These engines are used by various brands of the Stellantis Group.

This low-viscosity lubricant helps particularly small engines from these series to achieve the best possible performance with low wear. The new product masters the balancing act between maximum fuel savings and an extremely thin but durable lubricant film. “With such an oil, the engine needs less power to pump it. This is one of many adjustments made by the auto makers to reduce fuel consumption and emissions,” Oliver Kuhn explains “The automotive industry’s unbroken trend is away from viscous engine oils.” This is also followed by the new lubricant, which complements the range of premium oils from LIQUI MOLY.
