Mintex Racing supports Mission Motorsport at Race of Remembrance 2023

TMD Friction’s legendary braking brand, Mintex Racing, has supported veterans’ charity Mission Motorsport at the annual Race of Remembrance, held at Anglesey Circuit this November.

Over the Remembrance weekend, a 12 hour-long endurance race split into three stints tested crews in a variety of cars, all in support of the Mission Motorsport charity, which was set up in 2011 to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations, by providing opportunities through motorsport and the motorsport industry.

Mintex tests its high-end racing braking equipment on the track across various UK motorsport championships and provided the Mission Motorsport team competing in Race of Remembrance with its race and rally-approved brake pads and shoes.

Mission Motorsport ran a Citroen C1 running Mintex brake pads on the front and brake shoes on the rear, and a Mazda MX5 and Toyota GT86, both with Mintex Racing front and rear brake pads equipped.

Race of Remembrance has evolved over the years with its hallmark endurance race now in its ninth year. The race has a poignant remembrance service at its heart, with the 12-hour race delivered in three stints, pausing to reflect on the sacrifices made in conflict.
