MAHLE strengthens filter product strategy with new appointment

MAHLE Aftermarket has strengthened its team with the appointment of Tobias Lowen as category manager for filtration.
Lowen’s appointment strengthens MAHLE’s continued push for developing OE-quality, reliable filter products for the automotive aftermarket, and communicating its product portfolio to customers across the UK.
Lowen, who joins MAHLE from similar roles at Schaeffler Aftermarket and Jaguar Land Rover, will be responsible for managing MAHLE’s filter business with a focus on go-to-market strategy, as well as developing the tier one aftermarket supplier’s value proposition to customers.
Lowen said:

MAHLE sets itself apart from its competitors as a tier-one supplier to original equipment manufacturers by offering the same, high-quality parts to the aftermarket as OEMs do. With the Service Solutions business, MAHLE supplies tools and equipment for vehicle testing, diagnostics, and maintenance.
