Latest IAAF-GiPA Intelligence round up available

The latest edition of the IAAF Market Intelligence Report, issued in partnership with GiPA, has been published, detailing vehicle sales figures and MOT seasonality.
The report, delivered monthly to IAAF members, provides insight into the state of the automotive industry, including numbers of new vehicle sales across the EU5 countries (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain), also split by powertrain.
The report shows a marked increase in the number of new passenger car sales in the first half of 2023 across the five markets with 18.4 percent more sales than the same period of 2022.
Members can also read about expected rise in MOT volume, with an estimated three million cars set to have an MOT expire in September 2023. GiPA is urging the need for the aftermarket to manage its resource carefully and plan for the expected peak in MOT test demand.
