IAAF confirms council formation for new term

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) confirmed newly elected council members at its most recent annual general meeting held at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.

The meeting also confirmed the appointment of Craig McCracken, group factor manager at Arnold Clark Autoparts, as new IAAF president, succeeding immediate past president Richard Welland.

In addition, Sue McKay, new head of the commercial vehicle section, and Tina Drayson, new head of the garage section, also took seats on the council to represent their respective areas.

Mark Field, chief executive of IAAF, said: "The evolution of the Federation continues, and I'm delighted to welcome new members to the council and welcome back long-standing representatives. The council champions everything the Federation does to support the automotive aftermarket, and I'm looking forward to progressing our ideas to help the sector thrive and develop."

Following elections for remaining seats on the IAAF council representing component suppliers, the new-look council now consists of the following members:

As an independent trade body, IAAF fights for the rights of the aftermarket supply chain including retained access to vehicle repair information to ensure they're on a level playing field with vehicle manufacturers.
IAAF also fights to strengthen the MOT test, ensuring it is futureproofed for the changing needs of the vehicle parc.
