IAAF Activity Report: w-e 28 April 2023

The IAAF has had a very busy week working on lobbying activities, events and the growth of the garage section.
Lobbying
IAAF is actively working across a number of fronts including Type Approval, SERMI, MOT, Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Order (MVBEO). It is essential that secondary legislation is put in place to support the aftermarket’s access to repair and maintenance information. The Government is set to respond to the MOT petition as it nears 10,000 signatures. You can place your support here: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/631650
Events
Multiple events are now in place to support member networking including member networking event on 6 June, Garage Awards, 7 June, IAAF Golf Day 22 June and IAAF Conference and Annual Dinner, held on 7 December 2023 at DoubleTree Hilton Milton Keynes. Please contact IAAF for more details.
Garages
The IAAF Garage section continues to grow and an update on the membership will be provided next week. Garages continue to receive new members signs and we have some exciting initiatives lined up to support garages.
