HMRC: Making Tax Digital update

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA) will be mandatory from April 2023 for unincorporated businesses and landlords with total business or property income above £10,000 per year.

HMRC has been piloting Making Tax Digital for ITSA since April 2017 and those that have volunteered are already benefitting from a more streamlined, digital experience.

HMRC are hosting live webinars about plans to make it easier for customers to get their tax right and manage their tax affairs more efficiently.
