Hills Numberplates joins IAAF membership

Date: Friday 28 July 2023

Manufacturer of number plate components, registration plates and number plate production systems, Hills Numberplates, has joined the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) membership.

The Birmingham-based company specialises in manufacturing all components pertaining to vehicle registration plates, and holds a portfolio of globally recognised patents, standards, and awards for both number plate manufacturing and quality systems.

Formed in 1927, Hills Numberplates has developed aluminium plates which are sustainable and have unlimited recycling capabilities — MetaTek and the newly launched EcoTek. These are stronger, lighter and more durable, all while reducing the carbon impact of the car.

Lois Greenidge, marketing manager at Hills Numberplates, said:

“We’re delighted to join as IAAF’s newest member and advocate for a more sustainable automotive aftermarket industry.
“Joining IAAF’s membership presented an opportunity for us to listen to the collective industry’s needs, and also promote our services beyond distributor level to workshops and the front face of the aftermarket.”

Mark Field, chief executive of IAAF, said:

"It’s great to welcome Hills Numberplates on board as the latest business to seek out Federation membership as part of their business and marketing activity. IAAF membership offers benefits and gives member companies a strong voice across the wider aftermarket when lobbying for the industry’s needs.”
