HELLA recruits Ian Boyle as its UK Sales & Marketing Director

HELLA, the renowned original equipment (OE) manufacturer and system supplier, has appointed experienced aftermarket professional Ian Boyle to the position of Sales & Marketing Director for its aftermarket division in the UK and Eire.
Ian brings considerable sales and product knowledge to the role having spent 11 years at First Line, progressing to UK Sales Director, and previously 12 years at Quinton Hazell in a product management capacity.
“My role at HELLA combines the knowledge and experience gained over my career in the aftermarket in both product and sales environments,” said Ian. “For me, the personal love of cars has always been the main driver in my ongoing enthusiasm for the industry, but it’s my ability to analyse and understand trends in order to help customers identify opportunities, that allows me and my colleagues to put it to practical use.
“Joining one of the big global players is a very exciting opportunity, as HELLA offers an insight into the future of the aftermarket through its focus on new technologies developed and supplied as OE to vehicle manufacturers around the world and subsequently, its ability to support the independent service and repair sector over the long term.”
