Great Britain Speedway Team partnership

Niterra UK Ltd – a long-time supporter of Speedway via its NGK ignition brand – has announced it has gone in to partnership with the Great Britain Speedway Team.

NGK spark plugs are used by many of the World’s leading riders including a quartet of stars competing in the 2023 FIM World Speedway Championship.

The brand is backing three Britons in the championship, namely three-time World champion Tai Woffinden, former British and European champion Robert Lambert, and current British champion and 2022 British Grand Prix winner Dan Bewley.

In 2021 NGK-sponsored riders helped Great Britain to a World Speedway title for the first time in 32 years and last year also sponsored the team that narrowly failed to retain its FIM Speedway of Nations World Championship title.

The partnership will see the NGK logo featured on race suits and bike covers for all 12 Team GB Speedway events, on pit and interview back drops, as well as on Team GB TV and all live TV coverage.
