Exol Lubricants helps inspire next generation of engineering talent with donation

Date: Monday 12 December 2022

Leading lubricants supplier, Exol Lubricants, has donated its Optima engine oil to Reddish Hall School in Stockport, a school for pupils aged 5-18 with complex educational needs.

Reddish Hall School set up a charity to equip children and young adults with vocational skills, including in mechanical engineering. Exol Lubricants answered the call for parts and consumables to help the team learn new engineering skills while working on the school’s project cars.

Paul Eastwood, export sales manager at Exol Lubricants, said:

“Exol is delighted to support the new automotive engineering course at Reddish Hall School. The wider automotive industry must do more to equip the next generation of engineers with the skills and products it’ll need, so we’re delighted to step in and help play our part.
“Exol has donated some of its Optima LSGM 5W-30 engine oil for the facility’s cars which should go some way to serve as a fantastic learning resource for future mechanical talent.”

Reddish Hall School’s facility has expanded its the new mechanical site which now features two ramps and a tyre fitting machine. Initially, the facility had resources for carpentry and brick laying courses but has since widened opportunities for pupils with a range of automotive training aids.
