Comline launches new steering and suspension brochure

Date: Thursday 13 October 2022

Comline Auto Parts (Comline) is pleased to unveil its new steering and suspension brochure, which champions the brand’s all-makes range, the manufacturing and testing that underpins the product line, and communicates Comline’s approach in delivering a range that is tailored for the European aftermarket.

It is well-documented that Comline has been working tirelessly to evolve and grow its steering and suspension portfolio, and, with a target of bolstering its range by a third in 2021 met, the brand felt now was the moment to reinvigorate its product brochure. With trade shows and exhibitions now firmly back on the agenda, such printed materials are once again in-demand, and the recent Automechanika Frankfurt trade fair was the perfect place for Comline’s new brochure to break cover.

Diving into the brochure, readers will discover that Comline’s steering and suspension portfolio comprises ball joints, control arms, tie rods and tie rod ends, stabiliser links and mountings, suspension bushes, top strut mountings and suspension kits.

Turning the pages further, they will discover how Comline’s product experts have crafted a range that is targeted to the market’s most popular vehicles, those that underpin the steering and suspension sales of parts distributors and garages alike. This includes the development of parts specifically for hybrid and EV applications, which are on the rise and having a pronounced impact across the aftermarket.

Impressively, to date, the Comline steering and suspension range covers 171 million vehicles currently being driven on Europe’s roads, with the brand providing solutions for more than 1,700 of Europe’s bestselling models.

Comline’s expansive offering is also complemented by a suite of product data that is meticulously compiled by a team of specialists. This product data has been pivotal to the ongoing growth of Comline’s steering and suspension category, and is accessed via the brand’s website, MAM Software’s Autocat system, and TecDoc, where Comline is classified as a ‘Premium Data Supplier’.

Manufacturing and testing crucial to success
Exploring the brochure, a comprehensive insight is given into how attributes, such as chloroprene rubber, high-specification grease, and cold forged ball pins, combine as key ingredients for a product range that is supplied and trusted in the UK, and from Barbados to Bosnia, Northern Ireland to North Macedonia, and a vast array of countries in between.

Readers will also learn that Comline’s steering and suspension components undergo an 11-stage electro-coating process, known as cataphoresis, which protects components against water ingress, salt, dirt and other contaminants. A 900-hour salt spray test is also featured, with this process providing an accelerated simulation of real-world driving conditions, akin to 10 years of on-vehicle use. 3 and 4-axis testing underpins the performance of Comline’s control arms, ball joints, bushes, and tie-rods, replicating the loads, movements, angles and frequencies of real-world driving.

The final word in this exciting new brochure comes from Comline customers, with James, a UK distributor of Comline steering and suspension, giving a real endorsement for the product line: “Once our customers switched to Comline, they come back again and again!”
