Charlie stars at the Nürburgring

NGK ambassador Charlie Martin claimed another class podium in round three of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship at the iconic Nürburgring GP circuit after racing from last place to third in the final race of the weekend.

Charlie got off to a strong start by securing second place on the grid for the opening race of the weekend which would see her battling at the front of the class for the majority of her stint, climbing to P24 out of 35 cars, before handing the car over to teammate Jason Keats who brought the car home in sixth position.

Race two saw Charlie climb rapidly through the field throughout her stint to claim a thoroughly deserved podium finish.

She said:

“It was a weekend that threw everything at us, but to be back on the podium is a fantastic feeling and testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved!”
