BoxClever members urged to sign up for free NGK Academy trial

Date: Monday 07 November 2022

Members of NGK’s BoxClever independent garage loyalty scheme will have the chance to sign up for a free three-month trial of the company’s new training initiative when they attend the MechanEX show at Sandown Park this week.

The ignition and sensor specialist this month launched NGK Academy which is aimed at supplying essential training primarily to workshops, but with the content also of value to aftermarket distributors.

The portal includes 270+ technical training videos across a myriad of technical subjects/components by automotive training experts Our Virtual Academy (OVA) who have also created a suite of bespoke industry leading training videos on spark plugs with further NGK/NTK product focused training being developed in the future.

The spark plug training videos, three of OVA’s core training videos and other existing NGK/NTK training content, will be FREE to access for all once they have enrolled on the portal, but there will be a charge for accessing the full suite of 270+ videos etc.

However, to mark the launch NGK is funding a three-month full access trial for hundreds of BoxClever members including those who sign up when they visit the show on November 8 and 9.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, said:

“We would encourage BoxClever members to take advantage of the free trial offer when they visit our stand at MechanEx.
“NGK Academy is designed to provide valuable, meaningful training that users can take on-board to help them each day at work and one which is sure to prove popular, not only with workshops, but also with distributors.”

You can enrol for free limited access, paid full access or use your Promo Code for three months’ full access of NGK Academy at: ngkacademy.com

NGK will also focus on its recently introduced EGR valves range when it exhibits on Stand B2 at MechanEx.

The company launched the range in March of this year when it introduced 45 references with the valves being the equivalent to their original equipment (OE) counterparts.

NTK’s EGR valves can help reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides – also called NOx or pollutants – that are produced during an engine’s combustion process as well as helping to increase engine efficiency and reduce fuel consumption – vital in today’s tough economic environment.
