Airtex and A1 Motor Stores strike up a deal

A1 members will now be able to source water pump and timing belt kits from Airtex, one of the world’s largest automotive pump manufacturers.

Launched more than 85 years ago in 1935, Airtex is a dedicated original equipment (OE) manufacturer, with its European technology and manufacturing centre paying testament to its commitment to quality.

Based in Zaragoza in Spain, the fully ISO certified 13,000 sqm plant employs almost 150 staff and has the capacity to produce more than five million water pumps every year.

The water pump kits developed by Airtex include an Airtex OE water pump and a Dayco timing belt, as well as OE quality pulleys and idlers required for a complete system replacement.

A1 members will benefit from the company’s extensive range of kits, as the A12U warehouse will hold the top 50 products, which equates to more than 80% of the UK car parc. Furthermore, all kits have a three year, no quibble, warranty period and unlimited mileage.
