WAI recognised with TecDoc Premier Data Supplier accreditation

Leading rotating electrics supplier WAI has been awarded Premier Data Supplier status by TecDoc.
The TecDoc system from TecAlliance is the leading spare parts catalogue system in the independent automotive aftermarket.
A new quality standard that launched in 2021 requires data to be supplied with additional validations and key performance indicators, with WAI making the grade.
The achievement has been numerous years in the making with the company completely overhauling its parts data information, resulting in enhanced vehicle part coverage from its 5500 part numbers.
Richard Welland, managing director of WAI, said:
“We take great pride in the quality of our cataloguing to help ensure customers can accurately identify any parts required and rule out any errors that can occur in the selection process.

TecAlliance has operated stringent quality control of data hosted on the TecDoc cataloguing platform since 2020. In 2021 TecAlliance started awarding parts suppliers and manufacturers the title of Premier Data Supplier, when the supplier’s product data meets significantly stricter content-related requirements.
