TMD Friction technical training recognised with Coursecheck Brilliance Award

Date: Friday 11 March 2022

Braking friction specialist TMD Friction has been recognised in the annual Coursecheck Brilliance Awards.

TMD Friction’s continued investment in quality technical training, equipping its customers with skills and detailed knowledge of braking systems and part fitment, has resulted in the company being awarded the highly coveted accolade.

Scott Irwin, MIMI Head of Technical Training at TMD Friction, said:

“Investment in high-quality technical training is key to helping our customers prepare for future innovations in braking friction and brake systems, and understanding the parts and equipment across the many applications they work in.”

Coursecheck is an online platform that measures and evaluates feedback submitted by participants of the training modules.

“The Brilliance Award is testament to the tireless efforts of the technical training team, who are fully committed to serving our customers and being their trusted advisors, delivering not only ongoing professional development, but also continued confidence that they are fitting high-end braking parts correctly,” Irwin added.

Coursecheck rates feedback from training course participants. TMD Friction scored highly, with 4.8 out of 5.0, based on how useful participants thought the courses were, the length of the session(s), and how engaging the tutor was.

Out of the 4,615 training sessions participants surveyed, 93 percent said they would be interested in learning more about TMD Friction’s training seminars, with 84 percent giving a 5-star rating for their respective course.

“We’re constantly reviewing feedback gathered from our training sessions to ensure they’re as relevant, engaging and as useful as possible to our participants. The Coursecheck data provides us with valuable insight so we can continuously improve our sessions,” Irwin said.
