Tips from Ben on how to deal with stress

With the new lockdown having just started, it’s not surprising that many of us are feeling unsettled and worried about the future. We’ve all been experiencing lots of continual change in our daily lives, which creates additional pressures and can make us feel stressed.

Stress can make us feel tired, tense and overwhelmed. The combination of physical and emotional reactions to situations can change our normal behaviour; we’re less patient, become snappy or even angry.

The problem is that our bodies are not built to maintain high levels of stress for long. If we don’t do anything about it, we increase the risk of damaging our long-term health, so it’s really important that we find ways to get our stress levels down.
