The Diesel Technic Group looks back on a successful year of business

Another year in Covid-19 times is coming to a close. It was learned how to cope with the crisis and to adapt. The Diesel Technic Group has a positive balance for 2021 thanks to strong partnerships with distribution partners and highlights, as well as innovations from the product and service sector.

Universal parts: add them to the order!
One of this year’s highlights has been the integration of the Universal Parts as a new product division. With around 2,500 items, the product ranges of the product brands DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive are now even easier to navigate and access. Within the framework of Diesel Technic’s “One Stop Shopping” principle, required universal parts can be directly added to an order, whereby the distribution partners save both time and money in the ordering process.

Digital and on-site exchange
As direct exchanging is still restricted with customers on-site due to Covid-19, Diesel Technic put in place digital concepts. As a result, for example, different trainings could be performed online.

However, alongside this, there were also face-to-face events, depending on the region and situation, like trade fairs. The trade fair team from Diesel Technic France SARL was therefore able to take part at Solutrans in Lyon between 16 and 20 November 2021.

Parts Specialists Community
Even this year, the Diesel Technic Parts Specialists were able to support workshop professionals in their daily work. Their workshop videos are constantly increasing in popularity – on the YouTube channel, the brand has already hit 10,000 subscribers.

A highlight for the Parts Specialists Community was the integration of an exclusive Facebook group. Particularly active users of the Premium Shop (from 5,000 crowns) receive an invitation to the group and once in, they can talk with like-minded people from all around the world.

There was no shortage of fun: Truck racing fans followed the international racing over the course of the year, which the Parts Specialists reported on. As an official sponsor of Sascha Lenz (SL Trucksport 30), DT Spare Parts equipped the Vice-European Champion’s truck with branded parts. Alongside the competitions, some lucky end-customers received the opportunity to attend the races and to meet Sascha Lenz in person.

Betting game for the UEFA European Championship
In 2021, there was one competition that could not be missed: Fitting for the football European championship, DT Spare Parts was on the lookout for the “DT Spare Parts Champion 2021”, a betting game in which football fans were able to win ten attractive prizes.

Anniversary celebrations in Italy and the Netherlands
In 2021, two subsidiaries of Diesel Technic celebrated their anniversaries: Diesel Technic Italia S.R.L. in Verona/Italy celebrated their 5-year birthday, while Diesel Technic Benelux B.V. at the site in Nieuwkuijk/Netherlands celebrated its 20-year anniversary. A nice end to a successful year.

The Diesel Technic Group would like to thank distribution partners and their workshop customers for their confidence, in particular in these still challenging times, and is confidently looking to 2022. The Diesel Technic headquarters in Kirchdorf, Lower Saxony, is looking forward to a special anniversary in the coming year: 50 years of Diesel Technic!
