SMP Europe grows number of UK engineers to 16

SMP Europe, home of the Intermotor, Lemark and Lucas engine management brands, has grown the number of its UK engineering team to 16, as it accelerates its development in bringing solutions for the future vehicle parc to the aftermarket.

As a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of engine management products, SMP Europe engineers support the entire process from the development of the product, right the way through to its production, boosted by its investment in 3D printing to assist in rapid product prototyping.

At its UK Centre of Engineering Excellence in Nottingham, SMP Europe has added a new garage workshop with ramps and equipment to support customers even further with technical expertise.

Here, SMP Europe engineers have a platform to identify and develop new product ranges, in particular in the expanding EV and hybrid markets, as well as continuing their excellent work in internal combustion engines (ICE). The new facility will enable accelerated product development, benefitting distributors and garages and further cementing SMP Europe as an engineering leader in the industry.
