Partbusters first to market on Dayco UK steering and suspension range

Date: Thursday 16 December 2021

Tech innovator and automotive parts and crash repair products supplier, Partbusters, has partnered with automotive aftermarket giant, Dayco UK, to be first to market on its new steering and suspension range.

Announcing a strategic partnership, signed by the Partbusters executives along with Diego Grigoletto, EMEA Sales and Marketing Director for Dayco, and Steve Carolan, Regional Sales Manager for Dayco UK and Ireland, Partbusters’ customers will now be able to access the full range of high-quality steering and suspension products. The deal will also potentially ensure that Partbusters is the first to market for Dayco steering and suspension in Europe.

A series of meetings and presentations had been held throughout the second half of 2021, resulting in this synergy between the two companies. As the new year draws near, Partbusters has been working extremely hard on disrupting the automotive aftermarket through innovation, technology and synergies.

Nigel Owen, Partbusters UK Operations Director, commented:

“Dayco is a partner we are proud of, as it has remained committed to the automotive aftermarket for 110 years. This for us is the absolute reason to be backing such established manufacturers. The fact that the company has remained in business for 110 years means it has survived three major global depressions, two world wars and the usual four-to-five year repetitive recession.
“In the UK we had energy prices go up and eight energy providers decide to go into administration rather than fighting for their customer base. This action left eight million energy users in the dark at a time when support is needed. In comparison, Dayco has instead gone from strength to strength, and as such we are proud to be partnered with whom we regard as the best in the world.”

Grigoletto from Dayco added:

“We share the same vision as Partbusters, as it continues to make a name for itself within the industry, with a core focus on innovation and pushing the industry forward with its forward-thinking approach. We look forward to working with the team as we head into the new year and are excited about what this partnership will mean for our customers and the entire aftermarket supply chain, as they gain easier access to our complete range of new steering and suspension components.”

With new plans and partners on the horizon, the first half of 2022 looks to be an exciting time for Partbusters and its Strategic Partners, with several major announcements planned both for the UK market, as well as on an international scale.

The first major announcement being the launching of Dayco Steering and Suspension being first to market at Partbusters starting the first week of the new year, followed by further introductions of Strategic Partners, as well as acquisitions of manufacturing plants in Europe.

Owen concluded:

“2020 and 2021 have been very challenging years and have completely transformed commerce, not only through lockdowns and pandemics, but also through regulatory and compliance perspectives. After such a challenging period we, and our strategic partners, look forward to 2022 and beyond.”

With the contract being delivered and handled by Andy Marlor, Area Sales Manager representing the Dayco executives, commented:

“We are excited to be working with the Partbusters team and look forward to being a part of their journey.”
