Motul and Castle Combe Circuit partnership continues for 2022

Date: Monday 18 July 2022

Motul and Castle Combe Circuit have confirmed the continuation of the partnership agreement which commenced last year, which saw Motul becoming the Official Lubricant Brand of both the famous Wiltshire race track and the Castle Combe Racing Club.

The deal renews Motul’s title sponsorship of the popular Castle Combe Hot Hatch Challenge which fits in well with both the global lubricant company’s push into both the UK motorsport community and the preparation & tuning sector.

“We are delighted to be able to announce that we are continuing with Castle Combe Circuit and Racing Club, as their official lubricant partners,” enthuses Andy Wait, Motul’s UK and Ireland Sale and Marketing Manager. “The circuit offers us many opportunities which, this year, with a proper return to racing, we are looking to make the most of. We will continue to look at helping the development of this popular race track and to expand the circuit’s reach and that of the Castle Combe Racing Club.”

The partnership now features increased Motul branding trackside, as well as Motul again being visible on the podium and on the Castle Combe Circuit website. As before there is additional branding on race days and Motul is looking to use its expertise and the range of its products and technical resource to benefit the circuit’s car racing club and Castle Combe’s competitors alike.

“It is excellent to move forward with Motul as the circuit’s and the Racing Club’s Official Lubricant Partners,” comments George Marshallsay from Castle Combe Marketing. ”If you look at motorsport anywhere around the world you will invariably find a visible Motul presence. They are undoubtedly one of, if not THE, most active lubricant brands in the sport worldwide, and the potential for us both to benefit mutually from the partnership is undoubtedly huge. Motul’s resources should really be a great plus for our competitors and for our race fans and I am excited at the prospect of us being able to forge an increasingly productive relationship for all parties, as we move forward.”

The Motul CCRC Hot Hatch Challenge is running throughout 2022 with the next round taking place on 6th August.
