LIQUI MOLY's Ernst Prost announces his retirement

Ernst Prost, who has led LIQUI MOLY for 31 years, has announced that he will be retiring on 22 February 2022, which he thinks should be an easy date to remember.
He has always stated that the basic philosophy of his worldwide LIQUI MOLY family has been that being part of something is never being alone and that at the core of the LIQUI MOLY way of working have been decency, fairness, respect, tolerance, recognition, care, trust and love. He saw his role as producing stability and continuity, especially for jobs.
Although he acknowledges that leaving the business will be very difficult, he is looking forward to a new and hopefully just as exciting chapter in his life.
LIQUI MOLY was his baby, but he is confident that his team is highly motivated, loyal, hard-working and clever. His successor will be Günter Hiermaier and Prost has praised his abilities and ample experience, saying that the changeover will be controlled and future-oriented. He is also confident of the backing of their parent company Würth.
