Impression volunteers in the Great Big Bromsgrove Christmas

Date: Wednesday 23 December 2020

Award-winning, automotive PR and marketing agency, Impression Communications, has taken part in the Great Big Bromsgrove Christmas, to help the local community this festive season.

Bromsgrove statutory and voluntary organisations, supported by local businesses such as Impression, have joined together to provide Christmas hampers, gifts, children’s activities, and a festive meal in the ten days leading up to Christmas.

On Friday 11 December the Impression team packed food hampers to be delivered to local families for Christmas. The hampers included tea, coffee, biscuits, vegetables, fruit, soup, vouchers for meat, children’s selection boxes, Love2Shop vouchers, mince pies and Christmas puddings.

The following Saturday, 19 December, Impression lent its support again to deliver meals to residents for Bromsgrove’s virtual Christmas takeaway; for those who would normally either benefit from one of the community Christmas meals or meet up with friends for a Christmas dinner. Impression also provided all the apple pies and Christmas puddings that went out with the meals.

Mark Field, Impression Director, said: “We are so pleased to take part in this special project to support the community. And it’s great to see lots of local businesses coming together to help others in the true spirit of Christmas.”

Sarah McIntosh; Community Safety Projects Officer at Bromsgrove Council thanked Impression for its support: “I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help with putting the food hampers together, with your support we have been able to deliver over 150 hampers to residents in Bromsgrove. The residents I have spoken to when I dropped the hampers off were really delighted.”

The Great Big Bromsgrove Christmas project has been supported by donations from ASDA, Morrisons, Tesco Express, The Butchers Block, Impression Communications, Bromsgrove District Council, the Police and Crime Commissioner, Methodists churches, Churches Together in Bromsgrove, Fathers Barn and many other business and local groups.
