IAAF to explore eBay success in virtual webinar

Date: Thursday 06 May 2021

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has announced its second Industry Briefing Bitesize session for May 2021, entitled ‘How to be Successful on eBay’, with an exclusive presentation by eBay to its membership.

Taking place on Tuesday 25th May 2021 via Zoom, the IAAF is inviting members to get the inside track on finding aftermarket success on online marketplaces in the latest of its popular briefing sessions.

Starting at 10.00am until 11.30am, IAAF’s industry briefing will look at how marketplaces like eBay can help its members be more resilient in the long term and grow incremental revenues, while maintaining strong distribution channel relationships.

Andrew Rowson, founder and CEO of E-Motive, will introduce ecommerce, online marketplaces and the importance of a consumer mindset, data quality and brand protection in non-face-to-face sales and distribution channels.

Mike Smallbone, head of membership development at IAAF, commented:

“Even as restrictions are now easing in the UK, we’re delighted to continue connecting and engaging with professionals in the industry through regular virtual events that are effective and convenient for our members.
“The pandemic has accelerated the move into online selling channels and the ‘digital’ share of the pie will only increase over time. Our latest Industry Briefing Bitesize session will feature insights and guidance from our member E-Motive on eBay, the most important online marketplace for the aftermarket.”

During the briefing session, Rowson will lead an interactive and instructive discussion with eBay and both parties will be available to field questions from members.

An open forum will follow, allowing members to comment on key IAAF discussion points, where they will have the opportunity to gather more information on IAAF’s activity and how it is proactively supporting its members and the wider aftermarket.

Members can register for IAAF’s next exclusive industry briefing event by emailing anns@iaaf.co.uk.
