IAAF Activity Report: Events begin in earnest

Date: Friday 27 May 2022

It’s been a busy week for events as Head of Membership Development Mike Smallbone attended the CV Show in Birmingham before exhibiting at MechanExpert in Northern Ireland, while also presenting to FG7 Group members details of the IAAF’s crucial work in safeguarding our sector and also the many different networking opportunities available. The IAAF has played a constructive role in opposing any MOT extensions in Northern Ireland and encourages all members to get in touch on issues affecting their business.

On the subject of events, all roads lead to Birmingham as IAAF gears up for its presence at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event. The federation will have a stand at the event and also host an exclusive member networking event on the evening of Wednesday 8 June. Please ensure you have registered if you wish to attend.

Also, IAAF Chief Executive and UK AFCAR Chairman Mark Field will host a special Q&A with policy advisor Neil Pattemore at UK Garage and Bodyshop Event at 3:15pm on Wednesday 8 June. The session will include all the latest news on legislation affecting your business.
