HSE spot checks – business support on work-related stress

Questions on work-related stress form part of HSE’s COVID spot check programme as they support businesses to work safely.

The spot check programme ensures business are working safely and continuing to reduce the risk posed by COVID-19 transmission in the workplace.

The questions tie in with the recently launched Working Minds campaign that brings together a range of tools and support to help businesses and workers understand the best ways to prevent work-related stress and encourage good mental health.

Businesses and organisations can support the HSE campaign and become Working Minds Champions.

During the spot checks, HSE provides advice and guidance to manage risk and protect workers, customers and visitors. By calling and speaking directly to employers, HSE can check the measures they've put in place are in line with UK and devolved government guidance.
