Fuel crisis cancels book launch

The difficult decision to postpone our book launch this weekend was made late this afternoon, we couldn't in good conscience ask for commitment to an event that in some cases required significant travel with such uncertainty regarding availability of fuel.

We hope normal supply will resume by the time the event was originally scheduled, but those who organise will understand that point will not be the end of the disruption. There will be many long hours to make good the losses that are currently being accumulated. Not wishing to cause any further administrative burden to our sector was the right decision given the circumstances, the automotive industry is once again rising magnificently to unpredictable challenges.

So the fizzy wine is on ice, we will get back to the tools of our trade and will celebrate another day - we hope you'll be able to join us.
