EAG celebrates two years trading!

Date: Thursday 11 March 2021

Excel Automotive Group (EAG) was acquired by Tony Bhogal with Adrian Lamb at the end of March 2019 and has gone from strength to strength.

During the last two years, one of which was marred by a global pandemic, EAG has cemented itself as a reputable and reliable supplier of premium quality products to the aftermarket, forging strong customer relationships and providing effective distribution for many renowned companies.

In the two years that Tony and Adrian have been at the helm, they have brokered distribution deals for TRICO wiper blades, Suplex coil springs, Monroe shock absorbers and coil springs, Champion wiper blades, RYMEC clutches, Celect braking and Brembo braking, as well as its own steering & suspension, wheel bearing and transmission ranges – all of which now make up the extensive EAG offering.

The company has also gained approvals with several UK buying groups, including A1 Motor Stores and has joined the IAAF, to further broaden their customer base.

Members of staff have also been recruited to help with the growing business, including Operations Director, Chris Burnside and UK Sales Manager, Chris Haw, alongside the introduction of new delivery vehicles to its fleet. These vehicles were key for the company’s future growth, as EAG also launched a same day delivery service in the local area, providing motor factors with reliable components, quickly.

Chief Executive Officer, Tony Bhogal, said:

“I’m thrilled at how successful EAG has become. Between myself, Adrian, the Chris’s and the team, we know the aftermarket and have decades worth of experience in it, which has allowed us to find gaps in the market and provide an excellent service. We also ensure that there’s significant ongoing investment in the infrastructure of the business to provide a platform for future growth.”

Managing Director, Adrian Lamb, commented:

“With any new business, there are going to be ups and downs, but the main thing is to remain focused on creating a company that has its customers at the heart of it, and that’s what we do. Every new supplier we bring into the portfolio, we have first asked if our customers would benefit from them, if there’s anything extra they can provide and what the main selling points of the product are, as well as what marketing and support materials are offered with the new products.

“I’m so pleased with how the company has grown in the last two years and can’t thank everyone enough for their support, especially our staff, customers and suppliers, I’m excited to see how the next few years go, especially as we have some great opportunities coming up in the next few months that will be be revealed soon!”
