Ben offers advice on building resilience

Lockdown has been difficult for many of us, for lots of different reasons. In full lockdown things might have felt more certain or predictable, as the rules were clearer. But now that lockdown restrictions are easing, things might feel less clear, and there may be new challenges.

It’s a great time to develop and use our resilience skills to help us cope with change. To help we’ve put together some top tips to help you and your employees build resilience, ready for the road ahead.

Build Resiliance
When there are changes, or anticipated changes, it can be unsettling. This can affect people’s mental health, physical health and sense of wellbeing. Building resilience is essential to help us not only cope with change but bounce back quicker.

The good news is that we can all develop our resilience skills (our bouncebackability) and today we are sharing some tips to help people strengthen their ability to cope with change. Ben also has a video outlining our top tips from Ben's very own Health and Wellbeing Director, Rachel Clift.
