AAG acquisitions

Alliance Automotive Group UK has recently completed the acquisition of Nyanza Autoparts based in Coventry. Described as ‘one of Coventry’s oldest car parts and accessory suppliers’, Nyanza was formed in the 1980s by the Raichura family and expanded following the acquisition of Abbey Motor Spares. The buildings of another former factor, Clutch, Brake and Autospares, were acquired after the Finelist collapse, giving Nyanza a large, modern base of operations.

This acquisition follows on from that of Westleigh Motor Factors at the beginning of June. The business is an existing member of the United Aftermarket buying group. This was a single-branch LV business based in Havant with sales of c£2.3m and 19 employees.
