Foley Auto Services’ customer wins the car in the AutoCare Winter Giveaway!

Gail Stephens could hardly believe her luck when Maria McCullough called her to say she had won the car in AutoCare’s WIN A CAR Giveaway. Gail who had visited Foley Auto Services in Hereford for a service was selected out of 22,186 competition entries to win the top prize, a brand-new Peugeot 2008 Allure. Gail has been a customer of Foley Autos for over 30 years, so garage owners Carl Thursfield and Dave Williams were particularly pleased to be able to hand over the keys to a very loyal customer. Carl Thursfield said, “We only received 28 entries in the competition, so we didn’t think we stood a chance of one of our customers winning the car, but we are over the moon that it was Gail. It just goes to show you don’t need hundreds of entries to get the winner.”

Also there to congratulate her was AutoCare Garage Network Manager Maria McCullough, Mike McIntyre Business Development Manager GROUPAUTO and Francis Jennings and Diane Davies from the garage’s GROUPAUTO parts distributor TM Factors, who are also based in Hereford. 

Gail had her daughter to thank for winning the car, she said, “I wasn’t going to enter, it was my daughter who encouraged me to the day before the competition closed and I’m so glad I did. I have never had a brand-new car, so I am really going to treasure it. It’s the best Christmas present I have ever had.”

Maria McCullough added, “I can honestly say I never get tired of seeing a happy AutoCare customer drive away in their brand-new car courtesy of one of our competitions. Foley Auto Services are a great garage and we are very pleased it was their customer who won. 

“Without question this was our biggest ever competition with over 22,000 motorists entering and the most garages taking part. We try and make promoting the competition as simple as possible for garages, we provide free printed marketing materials, as well as a complete digital pack for their website and social media sites. We also invest in Facebook advertising to help spread to word to the masses and that’s not to mention the fantastic prizes that are up for grabs, I just don’t understand why every garage are not involved.”
