DENSO to welcome Rebecca Jackson to Automechanika Birmingham

Date: 21-Mar-2017

DENSO will welcome talented racing driver Rebecca Jackson to its Automechanika Birmingham stand on Wednesday 7th June.

Jackson, who previously worked with DENSO on the Track2 Track challenge to celebrate the launch of the Iridium TT Spark Plug will visit the DENSO stand where the aftermarket specialist will showcase its latest product innovations and technology.

As part of the Track2Track road trip in 2015, Jackson drove a Lotus Exige S fitted with DENSO Iridium TT Spark Plugs  from Moscow to London rediscovering Europe’s lost F1 heritage.. Rebecca journeyed across nine countries in 10 days for the challenge, and will now join the DENSO team again at Automechanika Birmingham.

The accomplished racer has raced in club level Porsche 924 and Boxster championships, the 750 Motor Club series, as well as launching Project Le Mans - her four-year plan to race in Le Mans 24 Hours.

Jackson said, “I am excited to join the DENSO Team again at Automechanika Birmingham on Wednesday 7 June, especially after the Track2Track which was such an enjoyable event.”

DENSO’s stand at Automechanika aims to highlight its ongoing commitment to further OE quality within the Aftermarket.

Last year, Automechanika Birmingham was a great success for both DENSO and the UK aftermarket, attracting more than 12,000 people to the exhibition. This year visitor numbers are expected to rise again.

Fatiha Laauich at DENSO Sales UK commented, “We are very much looking forward to inviting someone as inspirational in motorsport as Rebecca to our stand at Automechanika Birmingham. Rebecca visiting the DENSO stand and our continuous relationship with her highlights our brand’s motorsport heritage and continued involvement in motorsport and the show is a prime opportunity for an innovator like us to demonstrate our aftermarket expertise.”

Customers will be able to visit the DENSO team at stand 19B72 in hall 19 and further details of DENSO’s exhibit will be available closer to the event. You can register to attend Automechanika Birmingham for free by visiting:
