The IAAF’s Conference and Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday 2nd December 2010; as usual the Federation’s Annual General Meeting will take place during the day’s proceedings.
Following last year’s Conference, which had heavy hints about the transformation of the ADF into the IAAF as the industry body for all the independent aftermarket, this year’s event will focus synergies that the expanded body enjoys and the benefits that can accrue to the consumer; individual motorists and fleet customers.
During the Federation’s Annual Dinner in the evening we’ll be celebrating ‘excellence’ in the aftermarket, with the Federation’s Awards. As well as the traditional awards for distributors and suppliers, there will the second year of ‘Parts Person of the Year’. There will also be new awards for garages and, the President’s Award for the best ‘BEN’ Fund Raiser’. If you’re organising an event or you're in a competition and raising funds for our trade charity ‘BEN’, then you could be in with a chance of winning this new award. Let us know what your plans are.
Although our Annual Dinners stretch back to the old MFA days in the thirties, this will be the very first IAAF Annual Dinner – you’ll want to be there !
Booking forms will be circulated in August and there will be provision to book via the Federation’s website. However, you can pre-advise your requirements for tables by contacting the Federation office.
