IAAF Garage Section – the natural place to be if you’re an independent garage
Independent garages and service centres provide the UK’s motorists with a competitive and efficient alternative to franchised dealers.
There are fewer and fewer franchised dealer outlets around the country, which makes having vehicles serviced less convenient, more time time-consuming and, definitely more expensive that using a good local independent garage.
But if you’re an independent garage you know that running your business efficiently and giving your customer the best service isn’t enough to keep your business healthy.
There are so many other influences on your business; government departments, local authorities, VOSA (if you’re an MoT station), statutory authorities such as DVLA, Health &Safety Executive, Revenue & Customs – not to mention the immense amount of regulations from the EU.
Then there’s the technical information you need to keep up to date with, training issues, commercial matters such as insurance, legal information etc.
The IAAF provides help with all these topics – and the Federation speaks for you as an INDEPENDENT garage. There are no franchised dealers in the IAAF – we recognise them (and their Vehicle Assembler masters) as your competition – and it’s our job to help you win!
